HOW IT WORKS
Making room where it hurts
You lie comfortably on a computer-guided table while it applies a slow, gentle, rhythmic stretch to your spine. That stretch creates a little space between the vertebrae, which can ease pressure on irritated discs and nerves and help water and nutrients move back into the disc so it can heal.
Gentle, not jarring
The table eases in and out. Many patients relax, scroll their phone, or even doze off.
Fully clothed
Come as you are. We use a comfortable harness, no gowns.

We treat both cervical and lumbar disc issues.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Exam first
Dr. Molly checks your spine, reviews any imaging, and confirms you're a good candidate.
2
Relax on the table
Jayde gets you set up and comfortable. Each session is about 15 minutes.
3
A series of visits
Discs heal gradually, so most plans are 24 visits over 12 weeks.

Simple exercises and tips to protect your back between visits and after you finish.

MEET YOUR DECOMPRESSION LEAD
Hi, I'm Jayde.
I head up decompression at Matrix, and I'll be with you at every session. My favorite part is the day someone tells me they are able to drive without pain, or sleep through the night, or pick up their grandkids.

Decompression FAQs
Still wondering? Text us anytime at 864-263- 3008.
Does it hurt?
No. It feels like a slow, gentle stretch. Most people find it relaxing.
How is this different from an adjustment?
An adjustment restores motion to a joint. Decompression is a sustained, controlled stretch aimed at the discs. Many patients benefit from both.
Do I need an MRI first?
Not always. Bring any imaging you have, and Dr. Molly will let you know if more is needed.
How do I know if decompression is right for me?
Dr. Molly will help you determine this following case history, exams, and neurological findings.
Surgery doesn't have to be the next step.
Book an exam and find out if spinal decompression can help you get back to the things you love.
