PEDIATRIC CHIROPRACTIC · WITH DR. MOLLY

For the long nights and the little worries.

Fussy evenings. A baby who won't latch on one side. Gas, short naps, and that feeling that something just isn't comfortable for them. You're not alone, and you don't have to figure it out by yourself.

A NOTE TO TIRED PARENTS

Birth is a big journey for a tiny body.

Long labors, fast deliveries, C-sections, assisted births, and the way baby was positioned in the womb can all leave a newborn with tension in the neck, back and jaw. Babies can't tell us when something feels tight. They tell us by fussing, feeding unevenly, or struggling to settle. Gentle chiropractic care looks for that tension and helps ease it, so your baby can be more comfortable in their body.

WHAT PARENTS BRING THEM IN FOR

Common concerns, and how gentle care can support them

Colic & fussiness

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOTICE

Long stretches of crying, often in the evening. Arching, clenched fists, and a baby who is hard to soothe.

HOW WE SUPPORT

We check for neck and spinal tension that may be adding to discomfort, and use gentle touch to help baby relax.

Sleep struggles

WHAT PARENTS BRING THEM IN FOR

Short naps, frequent waking, and a baby who can't seem to get comfortable lying down.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOTICE

A baby who is comfortable in their body often settles more easily. We ease tension and share calming routines.

General discomfort

WHAT PARENTS BRING THEM IN FOR

Your gut says something is off. They don't like certain positions or car seats, or just seem uncomfortable.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOTICE

A thorough, gentle check to look for tension and help your child feel at ease. Trust your instincts. You know your baby.

Latching & feeding

WHAT PARENTS BRING THEM IN FOR

Baby prefers one side, has a shallow or clicking latch, or gets frustrated at the breast or bottle.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOTICE

Tightness in the jaw, neck or upper back can make turning both ways hard. We help ease it, and work alongside your lactation consultant.

Tension & head-turning

WHAT PARENTS BRING THEM IN FOR

Always looking one direction, a tilted head, a flat spot, or stiffness during diaper changes.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOTICE

Gentle adjustments and stretches to help baby move freely, plus tummy-time ideas that actually work.

Gas and tummy troubles

WHAT PARENTS BRING THEM IN FOR

Pulling legs up, a tight belly, straining, and lots of squirming after feeds.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOTICE

Gentle work for the back and belly, plus tummy massage and positioning tips you can use at home.

Ear infections

WHAT PARENTS BRING THEM IN FOR

Tugging at ears, fussiness when lying flat, or infections that keep coming back.

WHAT YOU MIGHT NOTICE

We gently address neck and upper-back tension to support comfort.

Growing kids, too

Crawling, walking, tumbles, backpacks, screens and sports all put new demands on a growing spine. We care for toddlers through teens.

OUR PROMISE

We work with your pediatrician, not instead of them.

Chiropractic care is one part of your child's care team. We're happy to coordinate with your pediatrician and lactation consultant, and we'll always tell you if something needs a different kind of help.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What a baby visit feels like

1

We listen first

Birth story, feeding, sleep, and whatever is worrying you. No question is too small.

2

Baby stays in your arms

Most of the check happens on your lap. Feed, rock or pause any time baby needs to.

3

The lightest touch

About the pressure you'd use to test a ripe peach. No twisting, no popping. Many babies fall asleep.

4

You leave with a plan

What we found, what we recommend, at-home tips, and costs, all explained before care begins.

TRY AT HOME TONIGHT

Little things that can help

Simple, gentle ideas Dr. Molly shares with parents every day.

Bicycle legs

With baby on their back, slowly cycle their legs toward the belly to help move gas along.

Clockwise tummy rubs

Warm hands, gentle circles in the direction of digestion, when baby is calm and awake.

Switch sides

Alternate which arm you hold and feed with, and which way baby faces in the crib.

Short tummy-time sessions

A few minutes at a time, several times a day, on your chest counts too.

MEET YOUR CHIROPRACTOR

Hi, I'm Dr. Molly.

Some of my very favorite patients are the tiniest ones. Many of them I first met before they were born, when I was caring for their moms during pregnancy. There's nothing better than seeing a baby who was struggling finally relax, and seeing the relief on mom's or dad's face.

I'm certified in the Webster Technique for pediatric and prenatal care, and I'll always go at your baby's pace. You'll never feel rushed, and you'll never feel silly for asking a question.

PARENT QUESTIONS

Pediatric FAQs

Still wondering? Text us anytime at 864-263- 3008.

Is chiropractic safe for newborns?

Infant care uses only fingertip-light pressure, nothing like an adult adjustment. Dr. Molly is Webster certified, adapts every technique to your baby's age and size, and explains each step before she begins.

Will my baby cry?

Some babies fuss at being handled by someone new, and that's okay. We go slowly, keep baby close to you, and pause whenever they need a feed or a cuddle.

How many visits will my baby need?

Every baby is different. After the first visit, Dr. Molly will give you an honest recommendation and check in on how things are going at each visit.

Why would my child need to see a chiropractor?

Parents bring their children to a chiropractor for a variety of reasons, including concerns about posture, mobility, and musculoskeletal discomfort, or to support their child's overall movement and development.

What can I expect during my child's first chiropractic visit?

Your child's first visit includes a thorough consultation and age-appropriate examination to assess their spinal health, posture, and movement, allowing us to recommend personalized care in a comfortable, family-friendly environment.

You don't have to do this alone.

Book a gentle first visit, or start the pediatric intake tonight while baby sleeps.
